Blessed are you, Sovereign Lord, the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, to you be glory and praise forever. New Testament reading
John 21:20-25
Peter turned and saw following them the disciple whom Jesus loved, who also leaned against His chest at the supper and had said, “Lord, who is it that is going to betray You?” When Peter saw him, he said to Jesus, “Lord, what about this man?”
Jesus said to him, “If it is My will that he remain until I come, what is that to you? Follow Me!” The saying went out among the brothers that this disciple would not die. Yet Jesus did not say to him that he would not die, but, “If it is My will that he remain until I come, what is that to you?”
This is the disciple who testifies about these things, and wrote these things. We know that his testimony is true.
There are also many other things which Jesus did. Were every one of them to be written, I suppose that not even the world itself could contain the books that would be written. Amen.

Your eyes have seen what the LORD did at Baal-peor, for the LORD your God has destroyed from among you all the men who followed Baal of Peor. But you who held fast to the LORD your God are alive to this day, every one of you.
See, I have taught you statutes and judgments, just as the LORD my God commanded me, that you should do so in the land where you are entering to possess it. Therefore, keep and do them, for this is your wisdom and your understanding in the sight of the nations which shall hear all these statutes, and say, “Surely this great nation is a wise and understanding people.” For what nation is there so great, who has a god so near to it as the LORD our God is in all things whenever we call on Him? And what nation is there so great that has statutes and judgments so righteous as all this law, which I am setting before you today?
Only give heed to yourself and keep your soul diligently, lest you forget the things which your eyes have seen and lest they depart from your heart all the days of your life, but teach them to your sons, and your grandsons. Especially concerning the day you stood before the LORD your God at Horeb, when the LORD said to me, “Gather the people together to Me, so that I will let them hear My words so that they may learn to fear Me all the days they shall live on the earth, and so that they may teach their children.” Then you came near and stood at the foot of the mountain, and the mountain burned with fire up to the midst of heaven, with darkness, a cloud, a thick cloud. Then the LORD spoke to you out of the midst of the fire. You heard the sound of the words but saw no form—only a voice was heard. He declared to you His covenant, which He commanded you to perform, even the Ten Commandments, and He wrote them on two tablets of stone. The LORD commanded me at that time to teach you statutes and judgments, so that you might do them in the land which you are crossing over to possess.

John 21:1-14
After this, Jesus revealed Himself again to the disciples at the Sea of Tiberias. He revealed Himself this way: Simon Peter; Thomas, called Didymus; Nathanael of Cana in Galilee; the sons of Zebedee; and two more of His disciples were together. Simon Peter said to them, “I am going fishing.” Then they said to him, “We will go with you.” They went out and immediately entered the boat. But that night they caught nothing.
When the morning came, Jesus stood on the shore. But the disciples did not know that it was Jesus.
Jesus said to them, “Children, do you have any fish?”
They answered Him, “No.”
He said to them, “Throw the net on the right side of the boat, and you will find some.” So they threw it, and now they were not able to draw it in, because of the abundance of fish.
Then the disciple whom Jesus loved said to Peter, “It is the Lord!” When Simon Peter heard that it was the Lord, he put on his outer garment, for he had taken it off, and jumped into the sea. The other disciples came in the little boat, dragging the net full of fish. For they were not far from land, but about three hundred feet away. When they came to land, they saw a charcoal fire there with fish lying on it, and bread.
Jesus said to them, “Bring some of the fish which you have just caught.” Simon Peter went up and dragged the net, full of one hundred and fifty-three large fish, to land. Although there were so many, the net was not torn. Jesus said to them, “Come and eat breakfast.” None of the disciples dared ask, “Who are You?” They knew it was the Lord. Jesus came and took the bread and gave it to them, and likewise the fish. This was now the third time that Jesus was revealed to His disciples after He was raised from the dead.

Luke 1:46-55
My soul magnifies the Lord,
and my spirit rejoices in God my Savior.
For He has regarded
the low estate of His servant.
For behold, from now on all generations will call me blessed.

His mercy is on those who fear Him
from generation to generation.
He has shown strength with His arm;
